Ten time major winner Tiger Woods will be hoping to continue his excellent start to the 2006 season with another win at Augusta in this year’s Masters.
Just as Tiger has pushed forward the standards by which professional golfers are measured, this Nike Golf Tiger Woods collection attempts to gently push forward the boundaries, whilst respecting the classic elegance of the game. With a mixture of short-sleeved polos and shirts, trousers, caps and sweaters, incorporating all the latest Nike proprietary owned technology, the new TW collection is at the forefront of fashionable golf clothing.
For three days of the Masters, Tiger is expected to sport a series of polos selected from the European range of his own Collection: the Multi Stripe Polo, in deep royal; the Twist Short Sleeve Mock, in stone white; and the Dri-FIT Drop Needle Polo, in Tiger’s signature Sunday ‘coral’ red.
“All of these styles were designed with huge input from Tiger as well as feedback from his extensive wear testing,” said Jason Wade, Nike Golf’s European product line manager for apparel. “We’ve integrated Nike’s exclusive performance-based fabrications with more a modern look whilst respecting the traditions of the game, enabling Tiger to be comfortable and look good at the same time.”
