The Belfry Strengthens Its Team

The Belfry Hotel & Resort, an award-winning luxury hotel and resort in Royal Sutton Coldfield, North Warwickshire, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Sara Dufton, Director of Revenue, and Kirsten Price, Head of People and Culture.   

Sara Dufton joins the team with over 16 years of experience in hospitality, having worked in three continents and four countries, including successfully leading eight hotel openings and re-brandings in Dubai and London. Sara has worked for several international hotel groups including Accor, Radisson Hotels and Hilton, and was formerly Director of Revenue at Mandarin Oriental, Pestana Hotels & Resorts and Ace Hotel.

As Director of Revenue at The Belfry, Sara will oversee a team of 16 and will lead the strategic development of the revenue management system at the resort, continuing to optimise revenue across all areas of the resort including golf, food and beverage, spa, and leisure.

On joining The Belfry team, Sara said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have joined The Belfry and to be working with such a dynamic, talented, and hardworking teamof people who share my passion for hospitality. The last year has proved how resilient and united our industry is and I am delighted to be a part of it and watch the resort bounce back as we showcase the world class facilities and service that The Belfry has to offer.”

Kirsten Price joins The Belfry as Head of People and Culture with over 20years in the hospitality industry having previously worked sourcing and developing talent for top hospitality brands including Côte Restaurants, Greene King, and Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants.

In her role, Kirsten will drive the implementation of strategies to continue to build on The Belfry’s strong people-orientated culture, ensuring the resort continues to attract the best talent and offers an inspiring and engaging working experience and environment across all areas of the resort.

Speaking on her appointment, Kirsten said: “I am delighted to have joined The Belfry and to be working at such an iconic resort. The Belfry has so many talented individuals and I’m looking forward to supporting them in becoming the best they can be.
