The Belfry Hotel & Resort has announced the appointment of Daniel Warwick to the role of Head PGA Golf Professional at the celebrated Midlands venue’s PGA national golf academy.

Warwick boasts over 15 years’ professional experience in the golf industry and is a fully qualified PGA Level 3 Coach, having previously held positions in some of the best venues and golf academies in Portugal and the UK. Having represented England at youth level, he turned professional aged 18 and found his passion in coaching and club fitting, whilst expanding his experience at top venues where he worked with elite players and coaches.

A TPI-certified coach, Warwick will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the golf academy and team of professionals, club fitters and retail staff: overseeing tuition, custom fitting, academy retail, corporate tuition and the development of staff and the golf academy.

He commented: “To be part of such a high calibre team at such a highly regarded world-class golf academy is fantastic. When coaching, I understand that everybody is different, and pride myself in finding logical explanations and easy-to-follow methods based on an individual’s ability. Small changes can sometimes make the biggest differences.”

Chris Reeve, Director of Golf at The Belfry, said: “We’re delighted to have Daniel join the team here at The Belfry. Whether it’s club fitting or swing analysis, Daniel can assist clients by combining his vast experience and qualifications with modern technologies such as Trackman, to help them achieve their goals.”
