Tarnia Robertson, managing director of Ufford Park Hotel, Golf and Spa was named a finalist in the Director of the Year category at the Suffolk Business Awards on Tuesday November 17th.

Run by the East Anglian Daily Times, the Suffolk Business Awards aim to recognise the most successful businesses in Suffolk. The awards take place every year but due to the pandemic, winners were announced via social media this year rather than at an awards ceremony.

In response to being shortlisted for this award, Tarnia said: “The hospitality industry has been one of the hardest hit by the pandemic, so the last few months have been particularly tough, but the support we have received so far has been incredible.

“I cannot thank everyone enough for their support and positivity over these last few months.

“Without my amazing team of employees, I would never have been shortlisted in this award, so I owe it to them.”

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the second national lockdown meant that Ufford Park had to close its doors to the public once again. The hotel does however remain open for those who have to travel for work purposes, key workers including NHS staff and vulnerable groups.

Tarnia continued: “We can’t wait until we can open our doors again in December.”

Ufford Park, Hotel, Golf and Spa is currently operating in line with Government guidelines. For more information about membership, events or bookings, visit the website: www.uffordpark.co.uk
