Direct Golf UK, the UK’s leading multi-channel golf retailer, has announced that their Stanmore & Edgware Golf Centre has become the first golf range in Middlesex to be awarded the RangeMark accreditation by the English Golf Union and English Women’s Golf Association.
Introduced to encourage and develop golf at all levels, in particular junior and beginner golfers, RangeMark provides a benchmark for facilities and the provision of coaching to be part of the grassroots initiative to encourage everybody to enjoy golf.
Steve Peet, Regional Development Officer for the East of England (EGU) remarked on the award: “I am delighted to be able to award Stanmore and Edgware Golf Centre with the prestigious EGU/EWGA RangeMark accreditation, ensuring they are now nationally recognised as a junior and beginner friendly golf facility.”

The centre provides ideal facilities to accommodate all types of golfers with a 49 bay 2-tier range with 18 automatic tees, a 9-Hole par 3 golf course and the renowned Cranfield Golf Coaching Academy along with the support of leading golf retailer Direct Golf UK Ltd.
