St Enodoc appoints two new deputy GMs

St Enodoc Golf Club in Cornwall has strengthened its management team with the appointment of two Deputy General Managers.

George Tunbridge has accepted the role of Deputy General Manager (Operations) and will work alongside Nicki Reader who has been promoted from her current role of Accounts Manager to Deputy General Manager (Finance).

Joining us from his current role of Golf Operations Manager at The Berkshire Golf Club, George has recently been awarded a CMAE management diploma and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Bournemouth University.  In addition to an extensive knowledge and love of the game, he is a three-time club champion across two clubs and currently enjoys a handicap of +1.

Nicki’s promotion reflects the roles and responsibilities she has in carrying out a range of administrative and organisational duties at the Club as well as deputising when required. After gaining a BA Hons in History from Sussex University, Nicki qualified as an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has a long association with St Enodoc which began in the early 2000s when she worked in the clubhouse bar in between winter ski seasons.

Commenting on the new posts, General Manager Simon Greatorex said: “The addition of two Deputy General Managers at St Enodoc will ensure that the club continues to provide an efficient and professional service to both our members and our visitors alike as well as the smooth running of the operational side of the club. St Enodoc is going from strength to strength which has necessitated the need to create these two new appointments.”
