Service to celebrate the life of Renton Laidlaw to be held in St Andrews

A celebration of the life of golf writer and broadcaster Renton Laidlaw is taking place at the Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews, Scotland at 1pm on Monday, April 25.

A celebration of the life of golf writer and broadcaster Renton Laidlaw is taking place at the Holy Trinity Church in St Andrews, Scotland at 1pm on Monday, April 25.

There also will be a special tribute by the Association of Golf Writers to Renton during the celebration, with former AGW Chair Iain Carter chatting with present and past AGW chair on Renton’s life.

Edinburgh-born Laidlaw, the BBC Radio’s former golf correspondent and a TV commentator with Sky and The Golf Channel, died in Dundee on October 12, aged 82.
