ASGCA Past President Rees Jones discusses golf's value on CNBC's "Squawk Box"

Golf’s positive impact on all areas of the business world was brought front and centre when American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) Past President Rees Jones appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” October 10.

Jones, who was referred to as the “Open Doctor” during his appearance for his extensive work on U.S. Open courses, discussed the recent Ryder Cup and the work he has done at many of the nation’s most recognizable facilities.

He also shined a spotlight on the work architects do each day adapting to the changing needs of golfers and the focus placed on the next generation of participants through the First Tee program. Jones highlighted the positive economic impact golf has on a community, as well as the value afforded to golfers when they play the course as it fits them.
