Rain Bird appoints new distributor in Turkey

Rain Bird Europe has appointed Golf Med Yapı Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited as its exclusive distribution partner in Turkey, offering the full range of Rain Bird Golf irrigation products for golf courses and sports grounds, contractors and turf managers.

Golf Med was established in 2001 with the intention of providing comprehensive management consultancy and construction services to developers of golf courses and sportsgrounds. The company is owned by Naki Evrandır and Cengizhan Bölükbaşı, with 55 years’ combined experience in golf course construction, maintenance and operations. Its range of services is designed to assist developers with the complexities of constructing, and successfully operating a golf course. From feasibility studies through construction to opening day celebrations, the dedicated Golf Med team ensures that every golf course build is completed and presented to the highest standards, on schedule and within budget. Also an exclusive distributor for the several leading brands in turf maintenance equipment, the company offers machinery to suit any requirement.
