Bunker Mentality one of Europe’s most fashionable golf clothing brands has re-signed for the second year Kylie Walker and Holly Aitchison to wear the ladies brand Queen of the Green on the LET.

Sales Director Carol Duncomb said: “Our girls performed very well last year on the tour both for themselves and in terms of promoting the Queen of the Green brand. They are both a credit to Queen of the Green, representing both the brand and our target customer. We are delighted to have them on board for a second year ”

Queen of the Green is dedicated and fully committed to womens golf and launched a dedicated website in the middle of August 2011. The site features all things ‘Queen of the Green’ and also boasts a cool blog, style guide and of course, is fully integrated with the brands new media facebook and twitter sites. Sales Director Carol Duncumb is very keen that a two-way dialogue is created between the customers and the brand, “ we have a terrific relationship with our customers through our social media and the website has now become the focus that we thought it would. Each of our LET players has their own dedicated page on the site where they can write a regular blog, and post pictures about life as ‘girls on tour’ which we believe will help encourage others considering turning pro”.

LET pro Holly Aitchison said “I’m really honoured to be part of ‘Queen of the Green’  team and part of the brand. It means a lot to come in  at the beginning as the brand is really taking off…” and Kylie Walker who was the brands first female pro is just as keen; “I love the clothes as they make me feel very feminine and I enjoy wearing them.  We get a lot of other players commenting on the logo and people are getting to know the brand as we are all wearing it.”

While the brand is dedicated to ladies golf at the European Tour level it has a strong desire to support at all levels and recently signed with former Curtis Cup player Hannah Barwood. “We like to meet people  before we decide to work with them and Hannah impressed us very quickly. Although she is currently an amatur we have agreed to support her to over the next 12 months to help her qualify for the LET” says Duncumb.
