Power Tee’s New Sales Rep Excited for 2022

4.23pm 25th March 2022 - People

Mike Meleski will be representing Power Tee as the Northeastern sales rep going forward. Mike is excited to show the opportunities Power Tee can bring to so many ranges and golf facilities in his area.

Mike joined Power Tee at the start of January this year. After working in sales for the past few years in Tampa, Florida and his home state of New York, Mike has begun to excel in the sales industry. After completing four years of college baseball at Binghamton University Mike started to pick up golf to keep his competitive nature alive, he quickly fell in love with the game and has been fascinated by the sport ever since. When the chance to put both his interest in sales and golf came about, Mike knew he couldn’t pass the opportunity up.

The northeast region of the United States will be overseen by Meleski. Mike has quickly learned that his region is primed for Power Tee. With so many clubs and ranges in such a small area, word can travel fast once Power Tee is installed. At the moment, close to 1/3 of the installations in the US can be found in the northeast. As driving ranges and golf clubs turn towards a more entertainment driven business model, the benefits of Power Tee are limitless.

Mike is already seeing success at Power Tee after a few short months. After the 2022 PGA Show Mike has been able to advance connections and conversations had at the show and transition those into sales. Along with the PGA Show, Power Tee was invited to attend the Connecticut Golf Show back in February alongside Chris Cote, Owner, and Operator of Chris Cote’s Golf Shop. Chris Cote is considered one the top Power Tee operators in the U.S.

Chris enjoyed having Power Tee at the show (pictured) and said, “It was great to have Mike there representing Power Tee, they play such a big part in our everyday success so having them here was nice to see”.  Mike was able to show range owners and golf industry professionals how Power Tee can benefit their business first-hand.

Mike is excited for the year ahead, “I’ve been wanting to step into the golf industry for quite some time now. Being able to put my sales experience and love for golf together is exciting. I think Power Tee has the chance to revolutionize the golf industry, that’s what hooked me from the start. Getting to be apart of something that could change the game of golf is truly exciting”.

Power Tee is happy to have Mike on board as well. Martin Wyeth, Power Tee owner, says, “Mike is exactly what we are looking for when it comes to our sales reps. Someone who is experienced in sales, but at the same time has a love for the game of golf, that is a great fit for us. I think Mike will find a ton of success in the northeast region especially with his drive and determination. I can’t wait to see all that he does in 2022.”

Power Tee is the world’s premier automated teeing system and is currently installed and featured at 80% of the golf ranges in the U.K including St. Andrews, The Belfry, and Celtic Manor. Power Tee offices are in Jacksonville, FL, and Swindon, U.K.
