Forest of Arden, a Marriott Hotel and Country Club, has announced the appointment of five new staff within its golf operations team.
The first of these appointments is Fraser Liston who will assume the Director of Golf role with immediate effect. Liston joins Forest of Arden from Marriot Tudor Park in Maidstone, and will be responsible for driving overall golf revenues, ensuring customer experience, upholding course conditioning and continuing positive business development.
Also joining the team at the West Midlands destination is Matt Cooper who will take on the role of Sales Director. Cooper has held several positions with Marriott venues in the past, most recently at JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai and JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London.
Petrina Johnson will take on the new role of Proactive Golf Sales Executive at Forest of Arden, and will be tasked with driving more corporate golf business into the venue, as well as raising the overall profile of the resort.
The fourth new addition will see Simon Howell shoulder the responsibilities of Golf Operations Manager, with the aim of improving the customer journey and overall golf experience at Forest of Arden.
Howell initially joined Forest of Arden as part of his Applied Golf Management Studies placement, and assumes this new role by way of a promotion from Golf Operations Supervisor.
The fifth and final new team member is Jon Howitt who will take on the role of Food and Beverage Services Manager. Having worked previously at Forest of Arden but joining most recently from the Northampton Marriott, Howitt will be tasked with driving food quality and service as part of the overall golf experience.
