The Royal and Ancient Golf of St Andrews has confirmed further grants to the British Institute of Golf Course Architects for diploma and associated courses over the next three years. The total value of the grant is £30,000 and is in addition to the R&A’s support for the diploma courses in 1998-2000.

The R&A has also given the Institute the sum of £7,500 for the development of its library at Merrist Wood.

The TORO Company and Barenbrug will continue to support the Institute’s educational programme through sponsorship of annual prizes for the most outstanding students
