Millerbrown Golf, Europe’s leading golf retail design specialists, is set to expand further with the appointment of Paul Sanders as Design Director of the newly-formed parent company, the Millerbrown Group.

Sanders,  already well known in the industry for the many hundreds of  golf shops he has designed worldwide, is also an established conference speaker and regularly gives seminars on retail design, including those he runs as part of the PGA’s cpd programme..  With projects from the Caribbean across to the far east, and with clients ranging from traditional members clubs to such icons of golf as Royal Troon, Royal Dornoch and The Wisley, Sanders is well placed to head up the design division of what has become a much-respected and well trusted brand within the golf industry.

Commented Sanders “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Millerbrown over the last four years. During that time we have completed some extremely satisfying projects and I’m delighted, as a result of the new group structure, to have been asked to take on this new challenge.

“Our business strategy going forward will be to focus on what we do best – retail design and storefitting – in both golf and also other specialised high street sectors where we are also well known, including jewellery and fashion. Our continued growth in these key areas of our business, despite the recession, has reaffirmed our decision to focus on these core strengths and the building services side of our business, which often has very challenging and fluctuating management requirements, will now make way to enable us to concentrate on what we are best known for – individual and original retail design. We have recently been instructed on some very exciting projects both in the UK and recently from as far afield as China and we are delighted to have received this level of international recognition.”

“It’s certainly exciting times ahead for the Millerbrown Group and we are particularly fortunate that our principle shareholders are keen to invest in the further development of our core market, to further enhance our established market position.”
