Marcus Armitage Joins Bounce Sport

4.00pm 1st June 2023 - People

DP World Tour professional, Marcus Armitage, has joined Edinburgh-based agency, Bounce Sport, as he returns to Germany, where in 2021 he won his maiden DP World Tour event at the Porsche European Open.

Having firmly established himself on the DP World Tour, Marcus is looking to use the years of experience he has gained working through the professional ranks to add to his win in Germany, and also to start competing more regularly in the Major Championships.

Hugely popular with his fellow-professionals, and affectionately known as The Bullet, Marcus hopes to continue his recent good form, which included a top-10 finish at the DS Automobiles Italian Open, at this week’s event, where he has both good memories and good knowledge of the course.

Speaking in Germany, Marcus said: “I am really pleased to be joining Bounce having been really impressed by the way they work with other players. I am as ambitious as ever and looking forward to achieving more success over the next few years. I feel my game is in good shape right now and I have a lot of confidence in my ability when I get close to the top of the leaderboard. The Porsche European Open obviously brings back so many happy memories, and I am hopeful that I can perform well here again this week.”

Iain Stoddart said: “We are delighted that Marcus is joining the superb talent we are so privileged to work with at Bounce and look forward to doing our best to play our part to try and help him achieve further success.”

Marcus joins fellow DP World Tour professionals, Grant Forrest, Stephen Gallacher, Calum Hill, Bob MacIntyre, Euan Walker and Marc Warren together with rookie LET professional Louise Duncan at Bounce Sport.
