Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UK’s largest independent hotel group, has appointed Jeff Mills as its new national golf business development manager.

Jeff brings over eight years of experience in sports and hospitality sales and business development, with previous golf-based roles at Q Hotels and the De Vere Group.

In his role, Jeff will drive new corporate business at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts’ golf properties, as well as lead on the account management and future development of the group’s Golf Tour Operators (GTO) production for inbound golf travel into the UK, Spain and Portugal.

Commenting on his new role, Jeff said: “I’m delighted to have joined the Macdonald Hotels and Resorts team and I’m excited about the opportunity to support so many fantastic venues. The group boasts some of the most spectacular and iconic golf destinations, which are renowned for being some of the best in the Europe.

“I’m joining the company at a really pivotal time and I’m extremely keen to develop the already strong golf brand even further into new corporate markets.”

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts offers nine celebrated golf courses as well as many other affiliated golf courses across the UK and Spain.
