Landmark Media International, the specialist golf public relations and marketing communications agency, has announced significant growth in 2010 resulting in the appointment of a new account manager, Manuela Whittaker.
The firm has expanded its portfolio of golf travel, resort and residential development clients, including the Elea Estate, Cyprus, featuring the new Sir Nick Faldo designed Elea Golf Club; Belek Golf Club, Turkey, a new European Tour Destination; plus Visit Kent and the Regal Golf Coast, which has mounted a high-profile campaign ahead of next year’s Open Championship at Royal St George’s Golf Club.
Landmark Media has also added the International Golf Travel Market 2010 (November 15-18, Valencia) to its growing list of event and conference clients, which also includes the KPMG Golf Business Forum and The Golf Show, Harrogate, October 26-28, 2010.
The agency has now appointed a new account manager, Manuela Whittaker, to help manage the growing client base and assist with Landmark Media’s ongoing international expansion into Europe and the Middle East. Educated in Dubai before gaining Bachelor and Masters degrees at The University of Manchester, Manuela is fluent in Arabic, Spanish and French.
Miss Whittaker joins Landmark Media from a specialist technology PR firm, where she identified new market opportunities and implemented business-building strategies that led to a 40% increase in revenue in 2009.
