Kosaido appoints new European Director of Golf

The European management company for Kosaido has appointed Bill Reid as Director of Golf. Kosaido owns and operates 25 golf courses and resorts around the world including the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa at St Andrews and Les Bordes, near Orlèans in France. “We are delighted that Bill will be joining our board and bringing his excellent reputation and skills to our portfolio,” said Jonathan Thornton, president of Kosaido Europe.

Bill Reid joins Kosaido following a nine-year tenure as director of golf at Wisley Golf Club. He has also taught and held senior positions in Sweden, Germany and France. He is a member of the professional teaching panel for Golf World magazine and has written extensively for golf publications in Europe and Asia.

In Europe the portfolio of Golf and Resort Management (Kosaido) Ltd comprises the Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa at St Andrews; Les Bordes, near Orlèans in France; Old Thorns Hotel Golf & Country Club, Hampshire, England; Kosaido International Golf Club, Dusseldorf, Germany and Golf Club Ambrosiano, Milan, Italy.
