Kings Hill GC appoints new General Manager

Kings Hill Golf Club in Kent has appointed Melanie Drake as its new General Manager.

Drake, who has held previous GM roles at Birchwood Park Golf and Country Club and Nizels, was identified as the preferred candidate for the post by recruitment company Timberlake Golf following extensive research. She takes up this role with immediate effect and joins the club at an exciting time, with progressive developments planned for both the clubhouse and the course over the coming years.

Commenting on the new appointment, Duncan Kelso, Director at Kings Hill GC said: “We are fortunate to welcome someone of Melanie’s experience to the club and I thank Timberlake Golf for a thorough, highly professional and targeted search. The whole process was managed promptly and professionally and with Ian Timberlake on the selection panel he was able to bring expert insight and knowledge, ensuring we could make an informed decision.”
