Birchwood Park Golf Centre, a BGL Golf venue, announces that Kieran Poole has been appointed as the new PGA Head Teaching Professional at the Dartford based leisure destination.

Poole joins Kent’s most popular pay and play venue from Orpington Golf Centre, where he served as the Head Professional for two years.

Prior to Orpington, Poole headed up the teaching professionals at Bulbury Woods for two years in what was his first head professional position.

“I’m extremely excited about the opportunity to join the Birchwood Park team and look forward to making a positive impact right away,” said Poole.

“I’m keen to make strides with the existing teaching academy setup, and in particular to further encourage participation from juniors and ladies.”

Poole will have Birchwood Park’s impressive collection of practice facilities at his disposal, including a 41 bay floodlit driving range, 9 hole short course and FlightScope launch monitor.

“This is my third head professional role and I hope that the experience and knowledge I’ve built up in recent years will benefit Birchwood Park members, as well as visitors to the centre,” added Poole.

Situated on the outskirts of Wilmington, Birchwood Park prides itself on offering a friendly welcome to golfers and non-golfers alike, providing locals with a genuine leisure and recreation destination.

Kieran Poole joins with immediate effect and can be contacted at headpro@birchwoodparkgc.co.uk
