RangeMark assesses driving ranges on the following three area; participation, environment and Child Protection / Duty of Care. Upon accreditation driving ranges receive a variety of benefits including a certificate and plaque to display, which promotes their award, as well as some funding towards the development of golf at the facility.

James Beattie, Junior Development Co-ordinator at Stadium Driving Range, said: “We are very proud to be the first driving range in West Yorkshire to be awarded the standard. We work hard to develop junior golf in the local area and are delighted to be recognised as a high quality facility”.

Richard Brown of the EGU said: “The criteria for RangeMark is pretty stringent and a lot of work goes into satisfying our requirements, which is why only the best facilities are awarded RangeMark.”
