John Daly turns Underwear Model

Professional golfer John Daly is ready to reveal just what lies beneath his deafening pants as the illustrious majors champion adds ‘underwear model’ to his colouful résumé. Daly – known on and off the course for his fearless candour – proudly endorses cutting-edge men’s underwear line Slix.

“Slix boxer briefs are the most ridiculously comfortable underwear I’ve ever put on,” said Daly, winner of the 1995 British Open and the 1991 PGA Championship. “When I’ve got my Slix on, it’s all good.”

The ‘Grip-It-and-Rip-It’ golfer’s personal reinvention effort has produced a new-and-improved John Daly, who’s looking and feeling his best yet.

“Slix is a natural fit for Daly, since our focus is to enhance the life of the professional man – be he a pro golfer, a building contractor or a corporate exec,” said Greg Hall, founder and president of Slix.

“We couldn’t be happier to have John as a Slix fan and spokesperson,” Hall added. “The Slix mission is aligned with John’s pursuit to be the best he can possibly be.”

Daly said the Slix Closer boxer briefs provide unparalleled fit and breathability. “I get a lot of things to try on and this underwear is something I don’t want to take off,” he continued.

The product line’s departure from common cotton underwear is the solution to dumpy looking T-shirts that bunch, retain moisture and come un-tucked. It is the remedy for briefs that stretch out and lose shape. It’s the antidote for droopy socks.

“One of the common issues golfers and caddies have is the discomfort resulting from sweaty, stretched-out cotton underwear,” Hall said. “The fact that The Closer never stretches out, breathes and wicks perspiration makes it no surprise that it’s the perfect underwear for golfers.”
