Jenkins departure confirmed

It has been confirmed this morning that David Jenkins gave up his position as managing director at Charterhouse Turf Machinery with effect from 28th January 2002 and has plans to set up his own company

With effect from 28th January 2002 David Jenkins gave up his position as managing director at Charterhouse Turf Machinery and has plans to set up his own company.

Announcing the news this morning, David’s former colleague, Geoff Burgess from Charterhouse’s parent group Redexim in Holland, said, “David achieved real success in building the business from its beginnings in 1982 to a leading company in the turf industry today. We are sorry to see David leave and we wish him every success in his venture.”

Charterhouse was founded by David and his co-director Philip Threadgold in 1982 as the Verti-Drain importer. The company today handles the full range of Redexim products, as well as Carraro tractors from Italy, the DR range of pedestrian strimmers and mowers from Country Home Products in America and the American Ardisam Chippers.
