Iain Sinclair has joined Advanced Turf Technology as Operations Manager to support MD John Coleman.
Iain is uniquely placed in his new role as for the past 13 years he has been a Greenkeeper working in various countries including Denmark, Ireland, Norway, New Zealand, USA and Scotland. In his career he has worked at some prestigious golf courses including Westchester Country Club, TPC Sawgrass, St Andrews Links Trust and for the past 3 years as Deputy Golf Course Manager at Notteroy Golf in Norway.
“This is a very new and exciting opportunity for me,” said Iain on his appointment. “Whilst it still involves Golf to a great extent, it is something completely different for me. ATT is a small company and I can get involved in all aspects of the business, from sourcing suppliers, to working closely with the Production Manager.”
John Coleman is practically pleased that Iain has joined the team, “I was in desperate need of another professional to help with demonstrations and turf industry trade shows,” he commented, “Our latest product, the INFiNiSystem, is really taking off and the extra pair of hands will be most useful.”
Iain was born and raised in the north of Scotland on the Orkney Islands and currently lives in Nottinghamshire with his partner Nicola. When he gets some spare time his passion is playing golf (there’s a surprise) and squash for a local team.
