Homer departs European Adams role to lead TaylorMade-adidas Golf in the Pacific

After 18 months with Adams Golf, TMaG are delighted to announce that Simon Homer has been appointed Managing Director of TMaGin the Pacific Region.

Simon joined the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Group in December 2012 as Head of Adams Golf Europe to set up and lead a new team to successfully launch and develop the Adams brand in the region.

Homer, commented: “This is fantastic opportunity for me both personally and professionally. I have enjoyed every-minute working with Adams Golf and feel that I will have left the business perfectly positioned to continue on its growth curve in Europe.”

During his tenure at Adams, Simon not only established a European Headquarters, including Sales, Marketing and Customer service teams, but he also oversaw the brands prominence on the European Tour as well as at retail on his way to exceeding ambitious sales growth targets for the business.

David Silvers, TMaG Managing Director EMEAP, commented: “Simon’s sales and marketing management experience, commercial expertise and approachable personality made him the stand-out candidate to lead the TaylorMade-adidas Golf Pacific business through its next stage of development.”

“I have good relationships and have made a lot of friends while working the in the UK and European golf market over the past 16 years, so it was not an easy decision. However, I look forward to the challenge and working with the TaylorMade, adidas and Ashworth brands, as well as Adams, in my new role,” added Homer.

Simon will start his new role on Monday 7th July. An announcement regarding Simon’ successor as Head of Adams Golf in Europe will follow in due course.
