Andrew Pilfold, Director of Golf at Al Hamra Golf Club and his team are ready to organize the Third Harradine Cup Tournament which will be held on 6th of November.

Al Hamra Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which is hosting the 33rd America’s Cup. The registration for the Harradine Cup has already surpassed initial estimates as the tournament has become an annual fixture on the U.A.E. amateur golf circuit.

Participating golfers will experience a tough challenge along the shores of the Arabian Gulf. The course has opened recently and it is a pleasure to witness the interest generated by this addition to the other sporting attractions.

“As the designer of many golf courses in the emerging markets, I feel that my task is not accomplished if the course does not attract aspiring and existing local golfers. This is extremely difficult when a course has been built primarily to sell real estate. It is however a great pleasure to note that the Al Hamra course is promoting the game of golf by organizing many tournaments for members, non-members and aspiring golfers.” – said Peter Harradine. “We are pleased that the Harradine Cup is also included in their busy tournament calendar.”
