Heather Mulley (pictured), previous winner of the coveted GCMA Manager of The Year Award, former Manager at Enville Golf Club and assistant at Redditch Golf Club, will be sharing her 21 years of expertise to support subscribers to the Ground2Control software system.
Ground2Control provides software to help golf clubs learn how to meet HSE requirements, fulfil their legal obligations and run golf clubs more efficiently.
Following increased demand for improved cost effectiveness and management information among golf clubs this appointment helps Ground2Control support clubs to implement and deliver all the operational and financial management information that golf clubs need, faster. This helps them be more effective, make data-based decision-making and keep tighter control of costs.
“Having data to back up your decision making is critical for golf club managers to fortify against changing minds of a golf club’s management committee. When there are facts and figures to support what an experienced manager already knows and recommends, then getting agreement about decisions is more effective.” Heather said.

This marks the next stage of a recruitment drive for Ground2Control following a twelve month focus on growth. The industry is being hit by staggering price increases and recruitment difficulties so we have seen an uptick in the number of clubs who are serious about getting more of the right things done in less time.
Heather’s official title is Customer Sales & Support Manager and this is a new role for the company. Experienced in golf club operations as well as the challenges of management, Heather has a keen eye for detail and will support new Ground2Control customers get their systems up and running to improve the culture of safety and efficiency among members and staff.

Golf Club Management can be quite an isolated role and knowing that I’m now part of the team for whom managers can call on for great advice is really exciting.” Heather said.
Heather will also be on hand to demonstrate the Health & Safety and the Resource Management module of the Ground2Control dashboard to managers to help them stop any overwhelm or nagging feeling about health and safety.
