John Ricketts has joined the Power Tee team to take over from Richard Baggarley who recently retired. Richard had been with the company since 2007.

Richard said; “I originally joined Golf-Tech on a part time, temporary basis but I soon realized I wanted to get involved deeper with the business.  Golf-Tech has been a lot of fun over the years, our customers range from small family run ranges to large corporations and all of them have been able to enjoy the benefits that Power Tee brings to their businesses.  I have enjoyed working with our customers and the dedicated Golf-Tech team but now look forward to having more time to actually play some golf myself.”

John joins Golf-Tech from Pitney Bowes where he was Sales Director for the UK & ROI. John has been working in the production printing and mailing industries for many years in both sales and business leadership roles. John has many years of experience of leasing capital equipment and ensuring that the solution offered is beneficial and profitable to the customer.  “I am really excited to be joining Golf-Tech, especially now as the golfing season gets under way and we are starting to see more positivity in the UK economy.  I am a keen golfer and was previously an avid user of the product so I was delighted when this opportunity came up.  There are some new, exciting lease options I hope to be able to start to offer to our customers soon which should help to make Power Tee even more profitable for the range owner. I have spent some time in Florida with Martin Wyeth (Golf-Tech founder and CEO) and Clare and am looking forward to working closely with them.

“Most of Golf-Tech’s team have been with the company for over five years and enjoy being the best in the world at what they do.”
