Glenbrae Appoints New Brand Director to Drive Knitwear Success

Glenbrae, the Yorkshire-based manufacturer of quality, hand-finished knitwear, has announced the appointment of a new Brand Director. The business is expanding its team with the addition of Alan Purdie, who joins with extensive experience in the golfing industry. Bringing his expertise from both sporting and management roles, Alan will oversee the delivery of Glenbrae’s message, ensuring the strength and longevity of its sales relationships, particularly in its heritage golf sector.

Over the past year, Glenbrae has opened up its offering to new markets, an expansion that has seen its fine-quality knitwear become well-respected in various corporate, consumer and sports industries. Despite the business’s successful growth, Glenbrae’s roots remain in the golf-wear sector, and Alan’s history as both a professional golfer, and at executive level within several high-profile golf clubs, makes him the ideal candidate to maintain and strengthen Glenbrae’s reputation for innovation in its golfing heartland.
