Richard Fryer FootJoy European Sales & Marketing Senior Manager

FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf is delighted to announce a number of significant internal changes at its European Headquarters in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Acknowledging the talent currently within the company and demonstrating a commitment to continuing the growth of the FootJoy brand throughout the European market, three key members of the Sales and Marketing team have been promoted to new positions within the company.

Having been instrumental in driving the iconic brand’s marketing activities as European Marketing Manager for the past 5 years, Richard Fryer steps up to European Sales & Marketing Senior Manager. A long-standing FootJoy employee, Fryer will oversee the brand’s sales team throughoutEuropeas well as continuing to head up Marketing.

On the announcement of his promotion, Fryer said; “I am extremely excited by the challenges that this position brings. I believe that the FootJoy brand will continue to go from strength-to-strength in the next year, especially as we have just launched our brand-new Performance Golf Apparel Collection and what I believe is our best range of footwear and gloves ever.”

To continue to meet the ever growing demand for FootJoy’s expanding portfolio of products and the addition of the new and comprehensive Performance Apparel collection, Glyn Evans has been appointed to the role of National Sales Manager. Formerly FootJoy’s Field Sales Manager Glyn, will work closely with theUkand Ireland Area Sales Managers to ensure that FootJoy’s reputation for service excellence is maintained and enhanced going forward.

Also moving up the ladder into the role of European Marketing Manager is Russell Lawes. Having worked at FootJoy for the past 4 years as European Marketing Coordinator, the 31 year-old, brings with him a wealth of knowledge, key relationships and a strong understanding of the golf industry.

“Richard has done a tremendous job over the past few years in driving the FootJoy brand throughoutEuropeand upholding our reputation as the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf and I look forward to working closely with him to continue this momentum,” commented Lawes.
