Fletcher Leisure Group has announced the sales team that will launch its “A|U|R” brand into Europe. A|U|R is a young, quality golf apparel collection that has already afforded great success in the U.S. and Canada due to its unique value and positioning – and excellent quality. For SS13 it will enter the European market for the first time.
Leading the team as European Sales Manager will be PGA Professional Steve Shaw. Steve, who was a club pro for over 15 years and swapped life on the course to become a sales agent in 2010. Since then, he has successfully established a range of brands including Tommy Hilfiger golf and Sunice in the North of the UK.
“When I saw AUR at the PGA Merchandising Show I immediately recognised that the brand delivers everything that a retailer looks for in apparel. Namely; great value, styles and great quality,” comments Shaw. “Every customer that has seen the collection since the SS13 launch a few weeks ago has placed an order, which is really exciting for us as a company. I am delighted to be on board.”
Jon Camp, Managing Director of Fletcher Leisure Europe is confident that his sales team will deliver excellent results in the brand’s first season, “The overwhelmingly positive feedback and resulting demand for this amazing brand has lead us to intensify our launch plans. Steve’s experience as a retailer as well as an agent has already proven invaluable to us and is helping shape our plans. His team has one of the most impressive new collections on the market and, under his guidance, they will make this launch one of the most important ones in recent memory.”
