Fitt brings with him nine years of golfing experience and joins the Golf At Goodwood team after working at Brocket Hall as Golf Operations Manager for the past two years.
The 27-year-old completed a degree in Applied Golf Management Studies at Birmingham University where he also became a fully qualified PGA Professional. Having also held positions at Safaa Golf Club in Saudi Arabia and at the world famous Gleneagles, Fitt has gained a breadth of international and multicultural experience both as a Teacher and Operational Manager.
Fitt commented: “As most PGA Professionals, I started my career as a coach teaching students of all ages and abilities. This was also my phase of clutching on to the dream of thinking I could make it as a player and after taking home enough winnings to barely cover my petrol, I thought it was wise to change the dream.
“Unlike most PGA Professionals, I then undertook a Masters in Human Resource Management at Hertfordshire University to focus on my real passion within management.”
In his new role on the 12,000 acre Goodwood estate, Fitt will be responsible for the day to day management and operations of both the Park Course and Downs Course and will also oversee the running of the Golf At Goodwood Academy.

My passion for delivering a fantastic customer journey, creating positive relationships and driving the game forwards will help take the Goodwood experience to the next level.”
