Feldon Valley expands golf team

Feldon Valley Golf Club in Oxfordshire has expanded its golf team with the appointment of experienced PGA coaches Jeremy Dale and Gary Wills.

Both bring a wealth of experience and passion for the game and are set to further enhance Feldon’s standout golf offering with their individual expertise.

From his first role as a caddie at the 1984 Open Championship, Dale has loved all things golf, and since turning professional in 1989 has coached golfers of all levels, from beginners to national champions.

A natural athlete, Dale also balanced a rugby career while at university before launching into a 20-year career in the live entertainment business, keeping golf at its centre. As a professional golf trick shot artist, interviewer and master of ceremonies, Dale is used to drawing in a crowd, with experience interviewing legends of the game such as Tony Jacklin and Ian Woosnam.

Wills began playing golf at the age of nine, and by the time he was 14 he boasted a handicap of one. A professional career followed, leading Wills to win numerous events before injury switched his path to teaching. With his first Head Professional role at Hellidon Lakes aged just 24, his passion for teaching was born, when he earned a stellar reputation teaching players from beginners and club golfers to professionals on the Challenge Tour and the European Tour.

Tom Jones, Director of Golf at Feldon Valley, said: “We are so fortunate to be welcoming not just one, but two fantastic additions to our golf coaching team, both boasting intimidatingly impressive CVs. After the year we’ve had, there is so much respite and enjoyment to be found on the golf course, and we are so excited to be up and running once again with so much to look forward to.”
