Drive off With Lee and Chubby at May Fair

12.34am 13th April 2012 - People

Chubby Chandler

World Number Three Golfer Lee Westwood and super agent Chubby Chandler will host a spectacular evening at London’s uber-trendy May Fair Hotel on 26 April

Teeing off with drinks and canapés, the action then moves into the Theatre for an hour’s Q&A session. Both Westwood and Chandler are known for plain speaking and a lively atmosphere is guaranteed.

Westwood was the first golfer to break Tiger Woods’ stranglehold on the World No 1 ranking while Chandler managed the early years of Rory McIlroy’s career among a host of other major stars on both the men’s and women’s tours.

Next up is a Masterclass from Lee Westwood. This offers a unique opportunity to get inside the head and learn the techniques of one of the most consistent performers in world golf.

Lee will play his top ten favourite holes worldwide on a simulator in the May Fair’s famous Crystal Room. Again, there will be a Q&A element. For any amateur wanting to know how a master-golfer manages his swing, cuts or fades and exercises course management this is once in a lifetime chance!

Sponsors include PING who will offer a prize of a set of customised clubs plus a visit to the PING UK Headquarters; Porsche, whose prize is a day in one of their latest models at their Silverstone Driving Experience and Virgin Atlantic.

Tickets are £225+VAT and an all in package of double room, breakfast and all the golf activities is £749.
