Dorset County Golf Union Seeks New Secretary

8.15am 3rd September 2021 - People

Following the long and successful tenure of the current Secretary, the Dorset County Golf Union are looking to appoint a replacement to start in early 2022.

Blessed with some of the best golf courses in the UK, including Broadstone, Parkstone and Ferndown Golf Clubs, the county has an excellent reputation for golf, with clubs attracting high levels of both membership as well as visiting golfers from within, and external to, the county.

The role will include management of all the affairs of the county union, one of 33 affiliated to England Golf. In addition to a sound knowledge of the game of golf, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with strong administrational and IT skills (Intelligent Golf and app use in particular). Prior experience within the golf industry is desirable, but not necessarily compulsory for the right candidate.

Interested in working from home in a new challenge for 2022? The closing date for applications is September 30th, with interviews scheduled for mid-October.
