PGA Professional and former European Tour Player, Richard Dinsdale, finished the 2015 playing season off in style in and exploded to victory in his first Professional Tournament in 2016 and that’s just on the golf course!
Off the golf course, he is thriving in his new role as Business Development Manager for Leading logo accessory brand, Asbri Golf. Richard, affectionately known as “Dinsy” through the golfing community was previously the Head Professional at Parc Golf Club in Newport for 12 years before joining Asbri full time in August 2015 and is now enjoying life on the other side of the pro-shop servicing all of Asbri’s Welsh accounts as well as managing the company’s key accounts across the whole of the UK.
Dinsdale was part of the Welsh Team that finished 3rd in November at the PGA European Team Championships in Turkey alongside playing partners (and Asbri customers), Sion Bebb of Morlais Castle GC and Adam Constable of Cardiff GC. He then returned back to Turkey for the Regnum Carya Invitational Pro-Am in February to claim his first win of the 2016 season after a dramatic battle over the last few holes with victorious 2015 PGA Cup Captain, Jon Bevan.

Richard added, “2015 was a whirlwind to be honest taking on the full time role with Asbri and continuing to play regularly on the PGA West Region. I had 12 fantastic years at the Parc Golf Club and am very thankful to the club proprietors. It was a hard decision to leave but I still have a close relationship there and I know the new Head Professional, Brian Lee and his team are already doing a fantastic job. To start 2016 with a victory on the golf course was great and am certainly looking forward to the new season both on and off the course. The team at Asbri has some significant plans over the next few years and to be part of the company and help drive their growth is a challenge I am certainly relishing. If I can sneak a few more wins on the golf course as well then that will be great!”
