At the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool was Chairman of the Dellanzo Group of Companies, Paul Dellanzo who was celebrating their opening of another new company this time in the UK simply called DELLANZO focusing on all areas of design services, restaurant concepts and helping promote the game.
Director of Business Development, Emilio Dellanzo said: “We felt this the appropriate time to have a presence in the UK. My father grew up playing all his junior and Colts golf on England’s Golf Coast between Royal Liverpool and Royal Birkdale , this area is simply one of the best in the world for its quality of golf courses so when we looked at the UK we decided why not Liverpool? In many cases by not understanding F&B operations and interior design are losing revenue opportunities in that area too as well as the potential to grow their memberships and daily fee golf.
Paul Dellanzo is the recipient of numerous industry awards including Best Managed Facility in the EMEA region and PGA of Europe Five Star Professional of the Year Award and is a veteran of the hotel, food and beverage and golf industries.
He has opened and managed some of the finest clubs and resorts in the world including Whistler, Canada, Loch Lomond, Scotland, Dubai Creek, UAE, Doha Golf Club, Qatar. Paul was responsible for five years for golf for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc based in Costa Smeralda, Italy followed by six years as Vice President of European Operations for Troon Golf opening their office in Switzerland providing leadership to help build their vast portfolio in the EMEA region. Dellanzo Group currently has projects in the UK, Croatia, Italy, Oman, Spain and Brazil and opens offices in the USA and Gulf Region this coming winter.
