Palmer Course Design Company regretfully announces that Barbara J. Gonzalez passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2001. Mrs. Gonzalez had been with Ed Seay, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Palmer Course Design Company, since 1973 and was one of the first employees when Palmer Course Design Company was officially formed in 1979.

Mrs. Gonzalez retired in 1997 from her position with the company as Vice President and Director of New Business Development. As Director of New Business Development Mrs. Gonzalez traveled the world promoting the company She was a frequent participant at golf trade exhibitions in Europe where she was very highly regarded.

Mrs. Gonzalez will be missed by her many friends around the world. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Anthony S. Gonzalez, daughter Susan Gonzalez Willow, mother Eldora Becker, brother David H. Jackson, one grandson Brendan Bils and her extended family at the Palmer Course Design Company.
