Paultons Golf Centre in Hampshire has appointed Advanced PGA Professional Katie Dawkins to its team of teaching professionals.

With over 20 years of experience, Dawkins is passionate about helping new golfers get into the game and loves to teach her lessons out on the course. She’s also a respected magazine instructor who contributes instructional articles for the likes of Women & Golf and Teetimes magazines.

“I’m thrilled to become part of the fantastic team at Paultons and look forward to meeting all the members and helping introduce new golfers to the club, with a dedicated coaching programme for ladies, juniors and in particular, families,” said Dawkins.

“The new owners have done an incredible job over the past year to improve all areas of the club and you can really feel a whole new buzz around the place, so it’s exciting to become a part of that.”

Trained to coach by the likes of Tim Barter and Butch Harmon, Dawkins has a proven track record of helping players achieve their individual goals from professional players (European Ladies Tour and Euro Pro tour players) and top amateurs/county teams to complete beginners.

Commenting on behalf of Paultons GC, Director Ben Blackburn said: “Our aim is to become the premier all-inclusive, family friendly golf and leisure venue in the South of England, and I have no doubt that Katie will help us enhance our golf tuition offering even more.

“Complementing our new partnership with local gym SO51 Fitness to offer outdoor training sessions at the club, Katie is also a qualified TPI golf fitness pro and nutritionist, so she will be able to help all golfers perform at their best out on the course.”
