Darwin Escapes appoints new Golf Marketing Manager

The national holiday resort company which owns three golf courses has expanded its golf team by appointing Kevin Paver as Golf Marketing Manager.

The role has been newly created to help implement the content and marketing strategy for the golf businesses within the Darwin Escapes portfolio, which include Dundonald Links in Ayrshire, The Kilnwick Percy Golf Club in Yorkshire and The Springs in Oxfordshire.

Kevin has previously led content teams in UK commercial radio for 15 years, before setting up a content production company. He has worked with a wealth of leading golf brands such as Callaway Golf, Powakaddy and Cobra Puma Golf. In the last 18 months, he has been working on the digital strategy and delivery for golfshake.com, Europe’s number one online score tracking site.

Ashley Pheasant, Head of Golf for Darwin Escapes said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Kevin to work with marketing team at Darwin Escapes. He has a wealth of experience in the golf industry and we have so many exciting golf projects coming up in the next few years so we are pleased to welcome Kevin on board.”

Darwin Escapes recently announced a £20 million investment project at Dundonald Links which included a new clubhouse and a new addition of 97 bespoke lodges.

Kevin Paver said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Darwin Escapes. They have three fantastic venues already within the portfolio, but as a group, they are keen to continue investing to ensure they are market leaders.

“This makes it a super exciting project to be part of, and one I can’t wait to get started on.”
