Royal Liverpool Golf Club is a private members Club with nearly 1,000 members worldwide; with its course being the famous links at Hoylake, Wirral.
The Club has a unique place in golf’s history and has hosted numerous professional and amateur national and international events including Amateur Championships and Open Championships. Royal Liverpool is hosting the 2014 Open Championship and , in the Club’s 150th year, hosts the 2019 Walker Cup.
Royal Liverpool Golf Club is now seeking to recruit a Secretary from this Autumn.
The successful candidate will report to the Chairman of Council and will have key roles in developing future strategies and plans and generally managing the Club’s operations and achieving its business objectives.
Applicants should ideally have:
- sound business , financial, and commercial skills
- team leadership, management and organisation competencies
- practical knowledge of employment law and other relevant legislation
- high standard of people and communications skills
- sound computer and IT literacy
- proven golf club secretarial experience or of a golf related establishment
