BTLIA launches website

12.00pm 4th July 2001 - People

The British Turf and Landscape Irrigation Association announce the launch of its website. The site, which can be found at www.btlia.org.uk, contains wealth of detail about the Association, its members and important areas of activity such as education, design and installation standards and quotation standards.

The BTLIA was founded in 1978 as a non-profit making trade association representing designers, suppliers and installers of amenity irrigation systems. Its membership comprises companies committed to the continual development and maintenance of standards within the industry. The association also works to highlight the benefits that higher levels of awareness and education bring to member companies and the end-users alike.

“The BTLIA has created a comprehensive website which will allow information about the association, the members and its increasingly significant activities in developing good practice with the turf and landscape irrigation industry, to be accessed widely. As we become more involved with our counterparts in Europe and with the production of Europe-wide standards, the ability to communicate information to members and the public through our website will grow in importance” says Graeme Francis, the BTLIA chairman.
