BGIA looks for new Marketing Manager

Milly Durrant with Ryder Cup

The British Golf Industry Association, the lead trade association representing the UK golf products and services industry, is looking to appoint a new Marketing & Membership Manager to work closely with the Board and Chairman Doug Poole to continue the growth, promotion and benefit provision of the Association, as Milly Durrant moves on from the FSPA (Federation of Sports and Play Associations) next month to take up a new position within the health sector.

Chairman Doug Poole commented: “The BGIA would like to thank Milly for all her hard work and effort on behalf of the FSPA/BGIA over the past three years, which has seen the BGIA membership grow under her remit.”

Milly went on to say: “Although excited for my new role, I am sorry to be leaving the BGIA and golf industry as I have gained unrivalled experience and met a host of fantastic people over the past 3 years in post.

“I have had the pleasure of working closely with two superb Chairmen and Board of Directors, and the Association has grown in strength and continues to make significant steps forwards within the industry as a result of their direction. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all BGIA members for their support during this time, my replacement will be joining a unique industry, which I hope to return to in the not-so-distant future.”
