Zoom launches Focus S Laser

11.07am 28th January 2022 - New Products

Zoom has expanded its range of golf lasers with the launch of the Focus S, a new model which builds on the brand’s award-winning credentials with a new design that is packed with premium features, but costs under £200.

The Focus S boasts a 7° field of vision, 6x magnification, ultra-bright LCD display and comes with an adjustable eye piece to cater for golfers with different levels of vision.

The premium optics combine with a host of practical features such as vibration feedback, slope mode – with visible switch for tournament play – flag scan mode and continuous measurement for scanning the course. Plus the return of one of Zoom’s most popular features, a micro USB rechargeable battery that lasts over 50 rounds on one full charge.

Weighing just 190g, the unit is offered in two designs, black or black/silver, and comes with a protective carry case, including a carabiner and bungee attachment and has an RRP of £199.

Steve Grant, Sales Manager for Zoom in the UK & Ireland, said: “In the Focus S, I think we have our best rangefinder yet. It’s packed with premium features, it looks fantastic and we’ve brought back the rechargeable battery from the Focus X that was hugely popular. There really is everything a golfer could want from a rangefinder and all for less than £200.”

“The rangefinder market seems pretty split between expensive premium models and cheap alternatives with minimal features,” concludes Grant. “The Focus S bridges that gap, giving a golfer every feature that they need and nothing that they don’t, all for an incredibly affordable price. Retailers have fantastic success with Zoom products for this very reason. They can make a great margin and offer their golfers a fantastic product that doesn’t break the bank.”
