Worldwide Golf Brands Announce Record Q1 Sales

Worldwide Golf Brands, owners of Stuburt, the world’s fastest growing golf shoe and apparel company, are delighted to announce record year-to-date sales, for the period ending March 2010.

Sales are up 228% year-on-year for the first quarter of 2010 largely due to the addition of the new range of Stuburt Helium golf shoes and the launch of a collection of highly technical performance apparel for Spring/Summer 2010.

With a range of technical garments including the Helium Atlanta and Helium Chicago Pro-formancefit shirts added to a Heritage collection of knitwear, Stuburt’s launch into the apparel arena has been extremely well-received by the trade and consumers alike.

With the likes of European Tour rising star Gareth Maybin and Ryder Cup player Graeme McDowell joining PGA Tour player Garth Mulroy and brand ambassador Darren Clarke by wearing Stuburt on tour, the great British brand continues to deliver tour-proven innovation and performance at a value-for-money price point.

Ram also remains an important part of the Worldwide Golf Brands’ success in Europe with the Manchester-based company fighting to keep up with demand for its latest SDX 2 range of value products.
