Wolsey introduces 2014 Knitwear

8.21am 11th August 2014 - New Products

Wolsey GolfAs one of the world’s oldest leading fashion brands, Wolsey has always been at the forefront of the industry when it comes to premium craftsmanship, attention-to-detail tailoring and on-trend styling and colour palettes. The modern British heritage brand’s new AW’14 knitwear collection is no exception.

Drawing on Wolsey’s longstanding expertise in designing and manufacturing premium clothing, combined with the use of high quality materials, the knitwear is characterised by fine detailing. The range features a contemporary colour palette that includes pirate black, chilli pepper, snorkel blue, camouflage and tawny port that delivers a smart and effortlessly stylish collection.

The innovative fabric THERMOCOOL has been incorporated into garments right across Wolsey’s Sportsman Collection, and has never been more practical than when used in the manufacture of knitwear, which is traditionally associated with overheating. THERMOCOOL fabric optimises the body’s natural thermoregulation capabilities. It contains fibres with a channelling surface to move moisture away from the body when the wearer is hot, and fibres with a hollow core to help provide insulation, allowing the golfer to stay warm, but still feel comfortable and able to swing with ease.

“We are committed to creating knitwear that is packed with the essence of golf, but with a modern look and feel that also incorporates innovative fabric technologies,” said Louis Wolcott, Wolsey brand director.

Cresting opportunities are available across the knitwear range and throughout the entire Sportsman collection, with the Wolsey signature red Fox logo completing the look.

Wolsey Sportsman AW’14 collection will be available on wolsey.com and trendyGolf.com, and at leading golf resorts and speciality stores across the UK & Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden and the UAE from August 2014.
