Tacit Golf, leading golf course equipment supplier, has launched a new service for Golf Professionals, Golf Clubs and Resorts to benefit from the sale of golf day branding products to corporate clients.

Golf clubs and resorts rarely pro-actively sell golf day branded items such as banners, pin flags, hole cup liners or tee markers etc., missing an opportunity to provide improved service to their clients and in the process create an extra revenue stream for the venue.

Leading the new development for Tacit is former DeVere, Marriott, PGA and Ladies Tour recruit Phil Gibson who will head up the implementation and service delivery of this initiative.

Phil Gibson, Commercial Executive commented “Having experienced all aspects of Corporate Golf, I strongly believe this new service will enable clubs and resorts the opportunity to add considerable value and benefit to a Golf Day, but ultimately provide a much needed extra revenue stream for clubs and resorts”.

In some quarters there is some scepticism, Phil is quick to quash this, “Some managers say to me ‘well they bring their branding with them’ and I say why not source it and sell it to them”. This is a missed opportunity for proactive event organisers and professionals.

By approaching corporate clients at the enquiry stage, venues can easily convert branding requirements by simply presenting a bespoke brochure supplied by Tacit with the specific company logo displayed on the most popular items. Tacit will handle the rest of the sale, artwork, proofs and delivery. The professional, club or resort can then sit back and await the additional revenue or commission!

Tacit, a preferred supplier to the PGA, have been producing, printing and embroidering their own products from their base in Rugby, ensuring the quality and service synonymous with the brand for well over 30 years.
