Ping expands women’s apparel collection for AW22

5.20pm 25th January 2022 - New Products

PING’s Autumn/Winter 2022 apparel range for women is its largest and most expansive to date.

After a very successful 2021 Solheim Cup for the PING Apparel brand, and with growing excitement surrounding women in golf, PING has designed a line of performance-driven apparel that will offer the female golfer more choice and outfit combinations to suit their style on the course.

Two standout design stories make up this range: ‘Mineral Print’ takes inspiration from nature, small scale geological textures, marbling, and mineral markings. The monochrome tone of this print offers versatility and longevity, with the mineral collection offering an air of elegance when paired simply with black and white.

The second design story, ‘Abstract Camo’, has a print that follows a similar direction towards the great outdoors and winter golf landscapes. The prints are rugged and irregular – a representation of nature’s untouched patterns and textures. This Autumn/Winter collection puts an emphasis on scaled-up patterns and interjecting contrast colours, with a bold and vibrant colour palette, giving a punch of colour to women’s apparel. When all the shades are combined and off set against navy, the outfits display a dramatic technical edge.

The new AW22 Women’s range is a broad and more complete collection; with two new waterproof jackets leading the way. The Jayda Waterproof, engineered from SensorDry technology, is a high performing, fully seam-sealed jacket, with additional features that include: brushed tricot lining, inner knitted cuffs, an adjustable collar, two-way front zip and a back vent for additional comfort and warmth.

The Freda Waterproof jacket, available in three colours, is a breathable and lightweight option with playability at the core of the design. Compliment the waterproof ensemble with the new SensorDry waterproof bucket hat to provide full body protection.

OSLO PrimaLoft Jacket

The Oslo PrimaLoft jacket III is a key garment in the new collection, with a combination of SensorWarm and PrimaLoft technologies to create a fully insulated jacket, cut in a flattering silhouette. The PrimaLoft Thermoplume layer to the front panel is a water-resistant fibre that gives insulating loft, with added performance and easy-care benefits. The PrimaLoft® Silver Active Insulation in the sleeves and back body comes with high thermal efficiency and superior breathability; a versatile technology to regulate your comfort whilst out on the course.

The Pip jacket is a new addition to the range and comes in two different prints. This hybrid jacket is designed with versatility, comfort and warmth in mind, thanks to a brushed-back fleece in the areas where you need extra stretch, as well as pillowy-soft Sorona Aura quilted insulation at the front and back body for core warmth. This SensorWarm garment exemplifies PING’s commitment to pushing design boundaries. The updated reversible insulated vest, Cece, comes in two different colourways and is insulated throughout with Sorona Aura: a lightweight, breathable, and partially plant-based insulation. Reverse the vest for the ability to create two different looks.

Kaitlyn, a new technical winter trouser in the AW22 range, is engineered for equal levels of comfort and protection in winter conditions. The soft and cosy nature of the brushed-back stretch fabric will ensure you feel warm and comfortable whilst out on the course. Tailored in a classic straight leg, this trouser comes in three colours which complement the palette of the collection. With a reversible neck warmer available in two different prints, as well as colour coordinating knit headwear, outfit building is made simple to keep you protected in the colder weather.
