The 2016 Ryder Cup Official European Fanwear range has been unveiled today, giving golf fans the chance to show their support for Europe ahead of the clash with America from September 30-October 2.
Available to pre-order now through www.euroshop.rydercup.com, the stylish Fanwear range is designed to give both male and female supporters the opportunity to wear their European colours with pride – whether watching at home or at Hazeltine National, where Captain Darren Clarke will hope to deliver a fourth successive victory for Europe.
Items available to purchase include polo shirts for men and women, plus a men’s zip neck sweater, softshell jacket, mid-layer top, quilted zip jacket and cap.
Richard Hills, Europe’s Ryder Cup Director, said: “The passion and excitement of The Ryder Cup is second to none and, whether they are at the event or watching on TV, supporters of Team Europe can play their part by wearing the new Fanwear range, which replaces the on-course replica kit for 2016.
“The range is both stylish and affordable, with polo shirts retailing at £40, and I’m sure the European team will be inspired by the sight of blue and gold outside the ropes at Hazeltine in September.”
Launched under the strapline “One Continent. One Team”, the Fanwear range has been produced in conjunction with Ryder Cup Europe’s Official Retail Partner, Fanatics.
The Fanwear range precedes the highly-anticipated Galvin Green waterproof team replica range, a limited quantity of which will be available from September 1, 2016.
