New Tee-Time App for Iberian Golf Bookings

8.00am 30th September 2011 - New Products - This story was updated on Saturday, October 8th, 2011

A new tee-time ‘App’ is set to provide golfers and holidaymakers with the perfect opportunity to book golf in Portugal and Spain while on the move.

The new application has been launched by Algarve-based Just Tee Times and is available as a free download on all iPhone and Android operating platforms.

Currently featuring 49 courses within the Algarve and Lisbon (Portugal) and 44 courses in the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Costa De La Luz (Spain), users can benefit from a simple four-step booking process available 24 hours per day with no booking fees or credit-card charges.

Just Tee Times expects usage to come from golfers pre-booking green fees before travel but also – as GPS navigation allows users to search near current location – it will prove an invaluable addition for general holidaymakers or business visitors seeking a local ‘fix’.

Significant savings on green fees are available, for example save more than 30 per cent when booking at Vale Da Pinta and Gramacho courses in the Algarve. In addition prestigious venues such as Valderrama and Vale Do Lobo are also available at discount prices.

Added features include course reviews, video content, images and location maps, enabling users to quickly decide their preferred venues.

Payment is made securely via the phone by credit card, with vouchers being stored on the phone for proof of purchase and to display on checking-in at the course reception.
